Andy Moss is a seasoned technology executive/entrepreneur who has spent his career innovating, launching and managing a range of technology-based businesses including within Microsoft. After 17 years at Microsoft, he left to launch his own startup and consulted with various other new and existing ventures. In 2014, he joined the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence to advise and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs from within the NYU ecosystem. In 2015 he was named Director Blackstone LaunchPad at NYU to implement and manage the initiative. In 2019, he joined the faculty at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering where he guides/facilitates/teaches Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Global Perspectives on Technology Management. He leads the development of a methodology for entrepreneurs and organizational leaders of all kinds to foster a desired Culture and Organizational Resolve (COR) grounded in clearly articulated principles shaping all aspects of the operation. In addition, he also serves on the Steering Committee for the NYU Alliance for Public Interest Technology.
Scott Taitel is Clinical Professor of Public Service and Director of Social Impact, Innovation & Investment at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Professor Taitel has created several initiatives and facilitated incubators for students at NYU Wagner students field of social finance, bringing together policymakers, philanthropists, finance professionals, nonprofits and foundations to collaboratively strengthen the growing field. As former Chief Operating Officer for the Clinton Foundation’s Enterprise Partnership, Professor Taitel was responsible for establishing impact investment funds and the oversight of a portfolio of social enterprises as well as economic development, health and nutrition projects throughout the developing world. Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, Professor Taitel was a managing partner of an international venture capital firm. His earlier career was as an economic development planner with both urban government and community action agencies. Professor Taitel has a Bachelor’s degree in Policy Studies from Syracuse University and an MBA from Northeastern University where he taught as an adjunct faculty member.
Tanvi is a Master's student at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, specializing in Business Analytics. As an analyst, she believes in providing insights to help transform and improve our surroundings and society at large. She works as a Research Assistant on the COR Project. Her current work is centered around determining appropriate ways to collect and manage data and prepare it for analysis. In her free time, Tanvi enjoys reading novels and listening to music.
Brianna is currently a senior at NYU Tandon studying Business and Technology Management with a finance concentration and minor in Integrated Digital Media. She joined the VIP COR team in her fall semester of senior year and is now working on utilizing data scrubbing tools to identify patterns on what conflicts in culture organizations have faced and how they have responded to it thus far. She has worked in insurance and risk management, sales, marketing, and financial systems management. When she is not working on the COR project, she enjoys travelling, finding good food spots, kickboxing, and listening to podcasts about leadership and business.
Crystal Martinez joined the COR project during her fall senior semester at NYU, where she is currently completing her B.S. in Business and Tech Management with a concentration in Finance. Crystal has worked in the public and private sectors in roles including real estate, equity sales, operations, and entrepreneurship. Her core focus has been to help improve business processes through innovation. In her free time she enjoys singing and playing bass guitar.
My name is Alex Mursalim and I am studying Business Technology Management at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I am from the Bronx and have a strong passion for E-Sports. My alignment with the project is to conduct primary research on potential companies we can interact with.
Ruby Pittman is a senior studying Business and Technology Management with a concentration in Finance at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. When not fanning over artwork and going to meet-ups, she is thinking of ways to make organizational behavior methods more accessible and working on the COR Team’s website and marketing deliverables to get the word out about the amazing work the team is doing. Through her education at NYU Tandon and the invaluable support of Tandon’s professors and innovative administrators, she understands the value of supporting others’ discovery, design thinking, strategic partnerships, social impact investment, and the application of future-defining trends. She is excited to work on the COR Methodology and is excited about what it will inspire.
Alexandra Restrepo joined COR in the Spring of 2020 during her sophomore year as a Business and Technology Management major at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. She is interested in entrepreneurship and quantitative and logical approaches to business management. In her free time, she enjoys running in Prospect Park, watching Star Trek, and reading anything about space.
